The building that houses
San Severo Relais
In 1740, the building Saluzzo di Corigliano was subdivided, losing the part facing the church of Sant'Angelo a Nilo, a part that was purchased by the brothers Nicola, Placido and Domenico de Sangro of San Lucido Princes of Fondi.
On the entrance vault of the palace, built in 1506, the coat-of-arms of Giovanni Battista de 'Sangro, patrician Napolitano, son of Luzio, marquis of S. Lucido, and of Alivina Frangipane of Tolfa is painted; he married Beatrice d'Afflitto, buying the building just before the wedding. This coat-of-arms, with the insignia of Afflitto, Tolfa and de Sangro families, was created on the occasion of the union between the Afflitto and di Sangro families.
